Coils

When handling steel coils weighing up to 35 tonne loads, ELOF is a safe, cost-effective and durable option.
The manufacture of steel coils requires the lifting and transfer of heavy coils; this can be done by ELOF Steel Coil Handler in several ways. The coils can be lifted by means of a boom through the center of the coil.

Or alternatively by lifting from underneath, with the coil resting on forks (when a side support arm may be required to retain the coil in place during transport). The ELOF range includes a Handler for each method.

Based on the rugged ELOF ‘no counterweight’ platform this is a compact machine with a low unladen weight. This design results in a small footprint and improved maneuverability; often a decisive advantage in many production environments, especially when combined with the emission free electrical drive.
